Essence of the Holidays

The Holidays are approaching quickly, contact us today for your custom holiday cards, party invitations, baby announcements, or thank you notes!

Bloom recently collaborated with Essence Photography from Redding, California on a new endeavor. We created a custom template set for holiday cards. These templates will be used by Essence Photography to offer beautiful custom photo holiday cards to her clients. Each template can be color, texture and photo customized. If you don't live in Northern California and Essence Photography isn't available to you, we hope to adjust these designs for sale on Etsy soon! Let your family photographer know that you're interested in these designs and have them contact us. Each card is designed according to Miller's Lab Professional Imaging specs. Millers Lab is only available to professional Photography businesses, but each template can be adjusted for your personal card orders as well.

Want one of these designs adjusted for you this holiday season? Just Ask! We will do what we can to help you out!

Wrap it up!

I've always had a love for wrapping presents. When the holidays roll around, I can't wait to find wrapping paper and make them all coordinate! Making it look cute and matching various wrapping accessories is all consuming for me. We have a friend who's birthday just passed and the party is this weekend. She too I know has a love for making gifts aesthetically pretty and will appreciate this as much as I do! Custom tags available for the holidays, contact Bloom to discuss your holiday gift wrapping ideas.

As a side note, I've never been able to wear green, so why lately am I so obsessed with it?

The Holidays Approach

With the beginning of the school year and the vast Christmas displays already in place at Hobby Lobby, I am reminded that the holidays are around the corner. Bloom is now accepting your orders for holiday cards and invitations. We are also still accepting orders for fall weddings. Contact us today to get started!!

Cindy Lou Who

My daughter made such a cute Cindy Lou Who for Halloween that we couldn't help but use a picture of her for our Holiday Cards this year. I even found a Dr.Seuss font and made our wording rhyme. We did just a flat card and included our personal blog site (blurred out for our privacy). Including a personal blog is a great way to let people see what you've done through the past year.

Family Holiday Cards

My mother in law sent me a picture this year that she wanted to incorporate into her holiday card. None of us in the photo liked how we looked, but alas it was the only picture of all of us taken together this year. So I came up with a more flattering solution. Having done an illustrated card for a client this season, I took the same concept for the photo that she wanted to include. Im pretty happy with the result. The whole family has commented on them and seems to really like the end product. What do you think?

Family Holiday Cards 2010

Remember this family from last year? Well this year they've added one to the mix, another little girl. They asked this year for something similar, but with a red, blue and brown color scheme-- that they had seen when searching cards online. I combined some images they sent and again painted them in photoshop. I added a few drawn snowflakes and some orbs for color. 4.5" x 6.25" A6 size on white premium matte Red River 60# and solar white classic crest envelopes.

Holiday Cards & Invitations

Bloom is now accepting holiday card & invitation orders, as well as other projects. The holiday season will be quickly approaching now that school is back in session around the country. This summer flew by, and though it seems crazy to already be thinking about the holiday season, it will be here before we know it. Get your order in today and lets start designing your perfect holiday card!

Holiday Card

This client wanted custom artwork of her daughter, dog and cat for her holiday cards this year. With photos of each character, I combined the drawings, scanned them and colored them in Photoshop. I used some vectors to create the scenery and greenery around them. Let me know what you think.
