Cute Purse

I was feeling crafty just in time for my sister in law's birthday last month, and found this pattern through How About Orange. It was fairly easy to make and I think it turned out great, even with my semi-mediocre sewing skills. I think my seamstress grandma would be proud though!

Thank Yous

A friend and client who I did Save the Dates for earlier this year is getting married in less than a month. They had another woman they know create their invitations but asked me to create their Thank You cards in the same theme. Their colors are orange, and sea colors, and they incorporated shells for the beachside theme. We came up with two designs that they really liked and split the full order in half for each design. I think they turned out nicely.

Skyler's Castle

Following the airplane mural, our other neighbors had a great idea for their daughter's 4th birthday party. She was going to have a princess party and as the backdrop for the table and the main event they wanted a dropcloth-mural of a castle. We created a pink and purple fantasy castle based on Snow White's (her favorite princess) castle at Disneyland. It ended up being about 4.5 ft x 8ft and I think it was a great addition to the party. At the end of the princess event each little girl had her picture taken in front of the castle to take home with them.
